The local tourist tax
Where your municipality charges a local or spa tax, ApartSync counts it per person-night and collects it for settlement.
In the panel: Reports → Local tax
How to do it
- 1Set the rate and the exemptions in the property settings.
- 2The charge is added to a booking - included in the price or shown separately, as you prefer.
- 3Panel → Reports → 'Local tax' collects the period, with the person-nights.
- 4The CSV export goes straight into the return for the municipality.
What catches people out
Exemptions - children, disability, business stays - differ from one municipality to the next. Set them once from your own council's resolution and the counting takes care of itself.
